Brian Bergeron ring review |

Ring review
When I think of motocross, a lot of things come to mind like pounding out motos, Supercross, and the great outdoors. What doesn’t come to mind is high fashion or jewelry. So when Brian Bergeron designs contacted me about reviewing their jewelry. My first thought was, “why we’re a motocross site?” Then I got to thinking, why wouldn’t I review a product like this. I mean a majority of riders are constantly trying to show and prove their identity of a mx rider when they’re off the track. Weather it be the clothing they choose to wear, the car they drive or the extra sweet tattoos they have plastered on their bodies. So why not make a ring for the motorcycle enthusiast? Well that’s just what BB designs did, they produced a dirt bike tire ring.
At first glance the DBt101 or dirt bike tire model is a different look. This being said, I like different, as I’m sure everyone else does. Nobody wants to fit the mold anymore, that’s why they spends hundreds if not thousands of dollars on clothes tattoos and hair styles to stand out. I can say that the ring grew on me even more as soon as I put it on my finger! So I wore it throughout the weekend in Las Vegas for the Supercross finale and had nothing but compliments given to me. Most that noticed the ring loved the styling and overall subtlety of it. This all being said the Moto ring is definitely a keeper in my book! Any one of the styles of rings would make a great graduation, birthday or anniversary gift for your loved one. They also come in a wide array of metals to fit any price range.
Pros:
- 1.Great styling
- 2.Workmanship is superb
- 3.Unique
Cons:
1. width is smaller than I like

FMF Factory 4.1 RCT for-(Honda 250f) |

FMF Factory 4.1 RCT
We hooked up with lil D, from FMF to get our 2012 Honda 250f some more power for the A Day In The Dirt event. He set us up with their newest silencer which he said is not only great for performance but not harsh on the wallet. FMF has come off one of their best years ever with winning every 450 championship in the states possible. So we were excited to see how their 250f product worked.
Fit
Right off the bat i’ll say that the pipe fits better then the stock pipe and slips on like a glove. It literally took us less than five minutes to change out the slip on for the stock pipe. As you can see in the photo the 4.1 pipe has a lower profile.

Look and sound
Once the pipe was installed it gave the bike that trick look. The carbon end cap and shape of the FMF just looks awesome. Then as soon as you kick the bike over you hear the one off FMF sound. The slip on gives the honda 250f a better throaty tone but it sounds quitter than the stock system. Big thumbs up from us!

On the track
Immediately I noticed a huge difference in the bottom end hit and midrange. As with most pipe companies FMF promised improved bottom and midrange, but i will say with 100% confidence that this slip on makes a huge difference. Where the honda had struggled before it came to life and revved all the way too Barcia limits. It made a bike that was reliant on overrev and good clutch work much easier to ride in tighter sections, as well as riding a gear higher in sections. Needless to say we were extremely pleased with the FMF slip on and would definitely say that it is the best bang for your buck as far as performance goes.
Cons
The only con we can find which really isn’t in our mind but may be to the general consumer is that the carbon can be scratched from a fall. If this is a worry we suggest you go with the natural or stainless steel endcap. Which doesn’t look as trick but will look great for a long time. We suggest you just don’t fall.

Fox racing 360 Flight gear review. |

I had a chance to test a head to toe Fox racing gear setup over the past few weeks, hear is what i thought.
Jersey:
Msrp $49.95
The jersey had a great fit and I had no problems with it untucking. I think due to the fact that it was a tad bit longer then most jerseys I’ve had in the past. The overall cut and fit was very comfortable and the ventilation was great! i liked the v style neck line as well. It wasnt a jersey shore v neck but it definitely adds some style points. Also it adds to comfort.

Pants:
Msrp: $169.95
The pants were a great fit almost like you're pulling on a pair of jeans. They were loose enough to fit knee braces but didn’t feel like parachute pants. I have to commend fox for always being on top of their size and fit! The 360 gear is on the lighter side so I’m not sure how it will wear at this point. But it made it through three hard days of testing and still looked brand new after a few washes.

Helmet:
Msrp: $349.95
I haven’t worn a fox helmet since the early 2000’s but I will say I was impressed! the fit was great and it was extremely comfortable. I wore Fox goggles with it along with Oakley’s and Scott”s. All of the different frames fit well but the fox fit the best and were the best fit. ( no shock there). The Visor was nice and high and out of my field of vision which is a big selling point for me. My only complaint would be that the chin strap pads aren’t removable. These tend to get pretty dirty after a few days of riding. But I just washed it with the hose when I was washing everything else and they cleaned up nice.

Boots:
msrp:$ 289.95
Once again it had been quite a while since I wore fox boots and I was surprised. They had come quite a long ways! After a few hours of walking around in them at the house they felt broken in enough to ride. Where as the old boot would take a few days of solid riding to get comfortable. The inner boot was very comfortable with thin or thick socks. In the past I had issues with feeling the shifter and rear brake but after a few laps I was able to get used to it and the feel was much improved. There is really only so much you can do with a leather boot and Fox has don’t a great job. I liked the sole a lot, it had lots of grip surface. No matter where my feet were on the pegs I felt confident that they wouldn’t slip off. The buckles were good but I really had to slam them to get them in to place. Overall I was very impressed by the new boot and am looking forward to riding in them for some time.

Overall the styling fit and comfort level of the fox gear were unparalleled! If I were to invest in a set I would definitely consider the Fox 360 flight edition. I didn’t have a chance to wear the glove set but one of the other testers did and really enjoyed them. As a set from head to toe I must say the fox gear line cant be topped right now!

Well, I will first have to say that I had not used many Bell helmets in the past but we have the beginnings of something great here. The Legacy Helmut doesn’t have that super stubby look of the Moto series of the past and the actual look and styling of the new helmet is great! I was extremely excited about the magnetic cheek pads and magnetic strap snap. The emergency removal system is something that should have been done years ago in this industry and I’m extremely excited that Bell has brought it to the marketplace. They are extremely easy to operate and may very well reduce if not stop secondary spinal injuries. Another awesome feature is the silver woven anti-microbial and anti-bacterial material that wicks moisture away from the head and kills off 99.9% of odor causing bacteria. A Great feature for all the dirty moto kids.
If you decide to buy this helmet online, go into a store to try it on first because they run small. I have never worn an XL but in this case I did. Also, when you try this helmet on, try it with the cheek pads removed at first to check the fit. Then, install cheek pads and try it again. This is how the Bell Rep had us try them on and it worked great. Also, the paint schemes are worth looking at in person before you make a decision.
As soon as I put on the new Legacy, it was much more comfortable then any helmet I’ve worn from Bell in the past. I also tried three different goggle types with this helmet, which included Oakley, Smith and Spy. All three fit great and the goggles sat on my face well. Once on the bike, I noticed how extremely quiet the helmet was while riding. It took a lap or two to get used to how quiet it was but once accustomed to it, it was a welcomed change. I’m sure my ears were thanking me at the end of a day of riding. The venting on the Moto 9 is by far the best they have ever had in one of their helmets and makes hot days a breeze. I am extremely impressed by my initial ride with the Moto 9 and will definitely suggest this helmet to friends and family.
