Stewart Soars to Fifth Monster Energy Supercross Race Win and 50th of his Career Davalos Leads Wire to Wire to Win 250SX Class ST. LOUIS (March 29, 2014) – Before a record-breaking 60,213 fans at the Edward Jones Dome, Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart won his third consecutive Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race, marking the 50th win of his career. Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Martin Davalos led all 15 laps to win the Eastern Regional 250SX Class Main Event and extended his championship points lead to eight. Trailing Alessi through turn 1 was Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto and Stewart in second and third respectively. Villopoto quickly passed Alessi and held onto the lead until Lap 10 when Stewart made a pass for the lead in the corner before the finish line. From the first round when we were all surprised at the staying power and speed of the Young rookie Adam Cianciarulo to Baggett’s reemergence to a top runner in supercross. Then there of course was Jeremy Martin not making the main after being thought as one of a very small group who was going to be fighting for this championship every weekend. Can’t say we were surprised by Davalos and the continuance of his win or crash trying ways. To his credit he did get his first win of his career after nine years of trying! Fast-forward a few weeks to the Toronto supercross when all hell broke loose. Adam dislocated his shoulder in practice but would give it a go since he was leading the series! He put in a hell of an effort but the shoulder ended up popping out and was unable to finish. He now is....... Read more

TLD / MAVTV / Honda’s Malcolm Stewart will race round 10 of the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship at the famed Daytona International Motor Speedway this Saturday. The race marks the first time that that Malcolm will race against his older brother James Stewart in the premiere 450 class in supercross. Fans will certainly be entertained watching these two charismatic riders battle. Malcolm, who currently sits in 6th place in the West Regional 250 SX series, will be wearing a special commemorative Peter Fonda inspired red, white and blue TLD helmet in Daytona. “Malcolm’s been doing a great job for us! We have high expectations for him in the outdoors and this race is good prep. I can’t wait to watch him this weekend,” commented Troy Lee. Daytona International Speedway has been home to the original Supercross since 1971 and is the longest continuous Supercross event in America.
